Jr. Heroes Academy offers comprehensive life improvement skills and emotional healing through mentoring and educational opportunities necessary to help children deal with unique life issues and current events in a healthier way. Here at Jr. Heroes Academy 501(c)(3), we know that sometimes all it takes to transform lives is support. Since our founding in 2019, we are determined to make an impact. The core of our efforts is to heal and educate children to become confident, emotionally strong, and loving human beings to make positive shifts within themselves, their communities, and the world.

Meet the Team

  • Ressel Yu

    FOUNDER AND TRANSFORMATION COACH
    CECP, CBCP, NLP Practitioner

    Ressel Yu is a Certified Quantum Healer and the Founder of Jr. Heroes Academy. She is certified in Emotion Code (CECP), Body Code (CBCP), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner, Advanced Quantum Touch, Marconics Recalibration, and Associate Certified Coach (ACC).

    Her passion is to assist children and adults in finding their bliss and success through shifting old paradigms and limiting beliefs. She believes that love is the most powerful emotion on earth and has the ability to move mountains and to heal what is scientifically deemed unhealable.

  • Lynda Yi

    TRANSFORMATION COACH, CFO AND BOARD MEMBER
    NLP Trainer, TICS, CBCP, CECP, BS

    Lynda Yi is at the helm of the Jr. Heroes Academy financial division with a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Southern California (USC) and 30+ years of experience in banking and retail.

    Lynda is also a small business owner and a consummate restaurateur. Since the beginning of the century, Lynda has been involved in the operation and accounting of five family-owned ethnic grocery stores in Las Vegas. In 2009, Lynda took that experience as her base to birth KoMex, the only Korean-Mexican fusion eatery in Las Vegas. With this incredibly unique offering, the world has taken notice. KoMex has been featured in Food Network & Cooking Channel’s “Taco Trip,” Buzz Feed’s “Best Hang Over Food in Las Vegas” list for 2017 and as a “Spotlight on Small Business” AllRecipes Magazine. The restaurant has many local and state awards for its menu items with rave reviews in local magazines, Trip Advisor, Yelp and Google.

    Lynda found her true calling when she discovered Energy healing and it transformed her life. Certified in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Emotion Code, Body Code and Trauma Informed Care, her clients include people of all ages as well as animals. Her intention is to help everyone evolve into their excellence. Lynda hopes to transform as many lives as possible through Jr. Heroes Academy.

  • Kassi Crews, MA

    DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMS, INSTRUCTOR AND BOARD MEMBER

    Kassi Crews is an entertainment industry veteran and a consummate storyteller. Her early studio career began at Cannon Films, famous for action titles like Jean-Claude Van Damme’s “Bloodsport,” Chuck Norris’ “Delta Force” and Sylvester Stallone’s “Cobra.” Crews became an industry leader in Hollywood post-production as the Vice President of Digital Jungle where she oversaw the day-to-day operations and served as producer on an endless list of film and television projects. Most recently, Crews lead multiple post-production teams at Fox and Walt Disney Television, overseeing the workflows of all television for FX Networks including "The Americans," “Fargo" and “Pose."

    Crews has produced a variety of critically acclaimed independent features, “Broken Memories,” “God’s Ears” and “A Better Place” as well as directed live shows for the theater. She is a member of ATAS, NAB, NAPTE, PROMAX, NATPE, and SAG; holds a Master of Arts from CSU Fullerton and a Bachelor of Arts with Honors from UC Santa Cruz.

  • Stephanie Joy

    DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT AND INSTRUCTOR

    Stephanie Joy brings over 15 years of expertise in project development and account management . She works with prestigious clients including Disney, Hulu, Walmart, Tiffany& Co., Louis Vuitton, US Government, just to name a few.

    Stephanie is a driving force behind the development and execution of customized programs, events, promotions, symposia, and teleconferences while consistently delivering results, significantly increasing sales for her clients while demonstrating her strategic vision and business acumen.

    Beyond her corporate success, Stephanie has devoted over 11 years to homeschooling, showcasing her dedication to education and mentorship. Her passion for contributing to the community is further evident in her extensive involvement in non-profit work. Her passion for understanding & connecting with the world extends to her coaching and youth teaching roles, where she imparts knowledge and guidance to the next generation.

  • W. Jason Grimley

    DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS, INSTRUCTOR AND BOARD MEMBER

    With over 19 years of marketing and public relations experience, W. Jason Grimley has helped promote CEOs, pharma gurus, philanthropists, authors, filmmakers, actors, Oscar-winning directors, FX artists, and a celebrity chef. Jason is an expert in media training, media relations, crisis communications, CEO or personality reputation management and event communications. As a PR consultant, he has placed influential stories featuring his clients in major media outlets that include The New York Times, NPR, Bloomberg Radio and CNN. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations from Rowan University.

    Jason has a background in the performing arts with experience in improv, sketch, storytelling, stand-up comedy and theater. He has delighted (and sometimes disappointed) audiences all over the US. Comedy appearances include the Chicago Improv Festival, the Philadelphia Comedy Awards, and the Del Close Marathon. As an instructor at the Philly Improv Theater, he helped develop the curriculum and performed regularly. Nominated for an LA Weekly Theater Award for his work in When Tigers Smoked Long Pipes (written by The Walking Dead executive producer, Angela Kang)/

  • Arielle Caputo

    EVENT DIRECTOR AND TRANSFORMATION COACH
    CSIC, CMLC, CLC, LALC, CURP

    Arielle Caputo is a published author and philanthropist. Over the last decade she has worked on a diverse range of projects from charity galas to fundraisers to pop-ups with a focus on youth empowerment, homelessness, and mental well-being. As well as co-producing and hosting the annual Global Youth Awards.

    She is a Certified Suicide Intervention Coach, and has certifications as a Mindfulness Life Coach, Confidence Life Coach, Law of Attraction Life Coach, as well as a Certified Usui Reiki Practitioner Level II. She is currently the Office Manager for Scooter Braun Projects.

    Her mission is to use her gifts to connect, empower, and heal.
